Justin Rektor advises clients on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including purchases and sales, property development, commercial leasing, and financings.  Justin has experience drafting purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and other real estate contracts.  He has also assisted developers on various matters in connection with the development, sale and leasing of office, retail, industrial, and residential developments, including numerous mixed-use projects.

Justin summered and articled at a leading national firm before leaving his position as an associate to join Davie Fane as an associate.

Justin obtained his law degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia in 2019 and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2020.

Justin’s recent work and projects

• Acting for vendors and purchasers of commercial and residential properties in the Lower Mainland, the Okanagan, and on Vancouver Island.
• Acting for large developers of phased and mixed-use developments in the Lower Mainland, including preparing disclosure statements and drafting required covenants, statutory rights of way, and easements.
• Acting for large developers in conveying completed strata lots in large residential and mixed-use developments in the Lower Mainland.
• Acting for commercial landlords and tenants in the negotiation, drafting, and review of leases for various office, industrial, retail, and strata premises.
