Caroline Lee assists senior lawyers and advises a wide range of clients on a variety of real estate transactions involving the acquisition, financing, leasing, development and sale of commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Prior to joining Davie Fane, Caroline practiced as a commercial real estate associate at a large international firm and as legal counsel to a regulatory body.

Caroline obtained her law degree from the University of Victoria in 2015. Prior to attending law school, Caroline attended Simon Fraser University and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2010. She was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2016.

Caroline’s recent work and projects

• Acting for commercial landlords and tenants in the negotiation, drafting and review of leases for various office, industrial, retail, warehouse and strata premises, including negotiating anchor tenant leases.
• Acting for large developers of multi-family residential developments in the Lower Mainland, including phased and mixed-use developments.
• Negotiating, drafting and reviewing purchase agreements (involving land, share and asset transactions) and development agreements, including easements, covenants and statutory rights of way.
